Do you have a space that needs a makeover but you just don’t know where to start?
Maybe you have Pinterest boards full of spaces you love but you’re just not sure how to translate it into your own home.
During our one hour consultation (in-home or virtual tour), we will go over the inspiration behind your dream space, color schemes, aesthetics, and functionality of your new space. Following this consultation, you will receive a vision board for your desired space, complete with paint colors, fabric options, and a virtual shopping list for furniture, rugs and accessories for you to implement in your home.
Consultation rate is $975 for locations within 20 minutes of zip code 02726 or via virtual tour for any longer further away and includes a one hour consultation, measurements taken and creation of a digital vision board within 1 business week, complete with a click-and-buy shopping list for everything you’ll need to implement the design. (additional design rates may apply if extensive changes are made; prices and availability of products selected are not guaranteed and only accurate at time of creation).
Curate
Using years of experience as a home renovator, Carolyn sources, curates and collects just the right unique, vintage or custom pieces to create your perfect space. Whether a stand alone service or as an add-on to your design package, we love the thrill of the hunt and save you time by scouring local shops, estates, other small businesses and the occasional big box stores, using our industry connections to procure that unique piece.
Mixing found with new pieces makes your style cohesive. With those industry connections, we can also provide custom furniture or cabinetry, furniture refinishing, cabinetry painting, upholstery work, custom drapes & pillows, built ins and one-of-a-kind artisan pieces. Understanding how hectic life can be and the demands of running a home or business, we are confident that you can trust our design eye to create exactly what you need.
We’ll work alongside your general contractor and team, if applicable, to make your space truly what you imagined it could be - and hopefully, better than that! Rates begin at $10/s.f. plus cost of goods, materials, pieces. Additional outside labor and other fees may apply.

As much as we love a beautiful home makeover, we love doing the same for your treasured dollhouse! From exterior to interior, furniture to custom finishes, Carolyn remodels solid wood dollhouses to suit your Modern Farmhouse, Coastal Cottage, Parisian Chic, Mid Century Modern and Boston Brownstone classic aesthetics.
Don’t have a dollhouse of your own but always wanted one? Not to worry!
Carolyn has a small collection of solidly constructed vintage wooden houses to choose from or a new smaller version, such as the Ikea Flisat dollhouse, can be purchased and remodeled to your liking.
Prices start at $425 (for the smaller Flisat house) and upwards of $1200 but average around $650-700. Dollhouse remodels include all fixtures, flooring, wallpaper, paint, exterior overhaul including window boxes and faux plantings, to all the furnishings inside, including custom crocheted blankets and uniquely designed pieces to match the dollhouse style crafted from a mixture of vintage, upcycled and hand made for a one-of-a-kind miniature remodel.
